Having started her first business when she was just 21, Morgan Leu Parkhurst knows what it’s like to be “in the trenches” as a business owner. Infusing the lessons she has learned about what it really takes to succeed in business, she formed Sharp Mind Marketing. Her reports, podcasts, videos, coaching programs, and classes have inspired other entrepreneurs to build their businesses and find their ideal customer.
Morgan learned early the value of paving one’s own way in the world. Her mother passed away just 10 weeks shy of Morgan’s high school graduation. It was then that the entrepreneurial spirit started to kick in as she became her own guardian while finishing those last few weeks of school (amidst well-meaning suggestions, advice, and ideas for how Morgan should shape her future). Listening to her gut (no matter how hard it was at times), Morgan has developed a successful brand in small business marketing; something she now teaches to entrepreneurs who, like her, want to find their own voice and pave their own way in the wake of a lot of noise.
A sought-after speaker and teacher, Morgan has guided countless audiences through the process of identifying what makes them and their businesses tick. And she does it in her usual style: equal parts humor and tell-it-like-it-is honesty!
Her not-so-secret passion is travel. Morgan’s very understanding husband lets her plan their family vacations to places she’s been dying to visit. Favorites so far include New York City, London, and Honolulu. Fortunately, those same places are her husband’s favorites too (or so he says), thus she continues her quasi-professional role of family travel agent.
